Is Thruwise free?
Yes, completely free during MVP. No payment, no card required. In the future we may add premium features (priority matching, paid expert calls), but the core wall will stay free.
Who is Thruwise for?
Anyone building products, services, or businesses. Indie makers, solopreneurs, micro-SaaS founders, freelancers, agency owners, online and offline business builders. If you build something and run into real founder problems, this is for you.
How is this different from Quora, Reddit, or Indie Hackers?
Three differences. First, we only accept specific problems — not "How do I grow my business?". Second, responses come from people who actually went through your exact situation. Third, conversations move private quickly. No public flame wars, no upvote popularity contests.
What kind of problems can I post?
Anything related to building a business: pricing, first customers, launching, failed products, solo founder decisions. Not personal life issues, not generic questions AI could answer well.
How do I find people who've been through my problem?
After you post a request, anyone who's been through it can click "I've been through this" and add a short Experience Note. If they mark "Let's talk", you can send them a private message with your contact info.
How does the private message work?
One-shot contact form. You fill in why you want to talk, what you want to ask, and how to reach you. The helper gets an email with your details. They decide if and how to respond. No in-app chat. No calendar. No video.
Why no upvotes, likes, or followers?
Because popularity ≠ quality. We don't want a Quora-style top answer race. We want specific problems matched with specific people. Different design, different result.
Can I delete my account?
Not yet in the UI, but reach out to hello@thruwise.com and we'll handle it manually.
Is my data safe?
Yes. See Privacy Policy for details. Short version: we only collect what's needed for auth and the platform to work. We don't sell anything. We don't show ads (yet — and if we do, it'll be contextual category sponsorships, not creepy retargeting).
