Talk to someone who's been through it.
Thruwise is where you find a real person who's already lived through the exact thing you're stuck on.
A different kind of place
What Thruwise is
- A wall of specific, real problems
- People who've actually been through your situation
- Private 1:1 conversations when both sides want them
- Tagged experience (did it, failed at it, currently in it)
What it's not
- Not a forum or Q&A site
- Not AI giving you generic answers
- Not a feed to scroll, no likes, no followers
- Not a mentor marketplace or coaching funnel
How it works
Post a problem
Describe the specific decision or challenge in front of you. Not 'how do I grow' — the real thing you're stuck on.
Find people who've been there
People who've genuinely been through it leave a short note, tagged with how they know it firsthand.
Take it private
Connect 1:1 with the person who actually gets it. No public threads, no noise.
When to ask AI, when to ask a person
Some questions are perfect for AI. Some are better asked to someone who's already been exactly where you are. Thruwise is for the second kind.
Great for AI
- “What's a typical SaaS pricing model?”
- “How do I structure a cold email?”
- “Explain the basics of SEO.”
Great for a person
- “I followed this exact pricing advice — did it actually work for you?”
- “What went wrong that nobody warned you about?”
- “Would you make the same call again?”
Why I built this
I ask a lot of specific questions. Most I could type into an AI, and often I do. It gives me a clean answer. But it can't tell me the one thing I actually want to know: what happens after I follow that advice?
Did it work out the way the answer promised? Or did something unexpected happen halfway through that nobody warned me about? AI can't tell me, because it never lived through it. It gives me the theory. I want the scar.
The other thing that bothered me: the people who actually know are out there, but their experience is scattered everywhere. Buried in threads, mixed into posts, half-hidden between product launches and noise. You have to dig through everything to find the one person who's been through your exact situation.
So I made one place for it. You post a specific problem. Someone who's genuinely been through it finds you. No feed to scroll, no noise to dig through. Just the problem, and the person who already lived it.
